When it comes to socks and shoes, you can’t have one without the other. As shoes are important, so are socks. Socks are what prevent you from getting blisters. When you walk the skin on your feet rub constantly on the fabric of your socks, and if you have poor socks you can develop blisters over time. I am going to recommend only one sock. I have walked in this exact model of Wrightsock for hundreds of kilometers, during all my Caminos. Not once have I gotten a blister wearing these. They are extremely comfortable and have great air flow. Trust me when I say that this is the best pair of socks for this hike, which is why I only feature this as the only pair you will need.
